I’d like to purchase an item. What do I do?

To purchase an item, click on it to get to the detailed page for that item. From here, you can specify the quantity you want, along with any other selectable information that might be available on that product (like colour choice or sizing for clothing items). Once you’ve added an item to your shopping cart, you can either Continue Shopping or you can Proceed to Checkout.

 

Can you give me any more information on a product before I buy?

Should you require further product information than what is listed on the site, please click on the MENU link in the upper right corner of the screen and then select the CONTACT link near the bottom of the list. This will take you to the HELP/INFORMATION REQUEST email form. Simply fill that out with your question and contact information and hit SUBMIT. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

 

How is the total calculated?

When you view your shopping cart, the sub-total before taxes and shipping are displayed to give you an idea of what the total for your order will be. Once you have provided your billing and shipping information, taxes and shipping are calculated and the final total is displayed for you to review and confirm prior to final checkout/payment.

 

How are taxes calculated?

The amount of tax is based on the tax rate charged by the province that your order is shipping to. These rates are:

  • Ontario: HST at 13%
  • British Columbia: HST at 12%
  • New Brunswick and Newfoundland: HST at 13%
  • Nova Scotia: HST at 15%
  • Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, PEI and the Northern Territories (NWT, Yukon & Nunavut): GST at 5%

 

How can I be sure my clothing purchases will fit properly?

The manufacturer’s sizing measurements can be found on the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION tab of each clothing item. This is located on the lower right of the product pictures on the larger product info pages you see when you specifically click on an item. These measurements should help you make the best choice. If you do not see this information, or have any further questions please use the HELP/INFORMATION REQUEST explained in Point #2 to let us know how we can help you with more information.

 

How do I checkout?

Once you have confirmed that all of the items you would like to purchase are listed in your shopping cart, click “Proceed to Checkout”. In the next steps you will be prompted to provide your billing and shipping information. You will be prompted to verify your order and submit your payment information. You will have one last chance to review and confirm you order, and when ready, your order will be processed after clicking “Pay”. Please do not press the “Pay” button more than once.

 

What happens if I create an account with the Liberal Boutique?

When you create an account with the Liberal Boutique, previously used billing and shipping addresses are securely stored, so that the next time you want to shop, you don’t have to re-enter them.

 

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You don’t need to create an account to check out.

 

What payment options are available to me?

You can process purchases via PayPal if you have an existing PayPal account OR by submitting your VISA or MASTERCARD credit card with a valid expiry date during the Check Out process.

If I create an account with the Liberal Boutique, will my credit card information be stored?

The Liberal Party does not retain credit card information after the completion of an online transaction. You will have to provide it every time you make a purchase.

 

Is it safe to enter my credit card? Is the website secure?

All information, including credit card information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption. This means that any data sent from the user’s computer to Pay Pal’s eCommerce server to complete your transaction is completely secure.

 

Why are there already items in my shopping cart when I sometimes open the site?

The Liberal Boutique has been designed to remember your order. So, if you don’t manage to complete it for some reason, you can always come back to it later and finish up. If there are items in your shopping cart that you don’t wish to purchase, simply delete any unwanted items when you view your cart.

 

Will I receive confirmation of my order?

Upon submitting your order online, you will immediately be directed to a page indicating that your order has been completed. Additionally, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout.

 

I did not receive confirmation of my order. What should I do?

If you have submitted your order but have not been immediately directed to a page indicating your order has been completed, do not click the submit button again. It is possible that the connection is slow due to high traffic volume on the site. The page should come up within a few seconds. Please also check the junk-mail box of your email. If, after several hours, you still cannot find your confirmation email, please contact us using the HELP/INFORMATION REQUEST email link explained in Point #2.

 

Can I change my order after it has been submitted?

In an effort to provide the best and most efficient customer service, we process all orders immediately after they are submitted. As such, we are unable to make any cancellations and/or changes to your order after it has been placed. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

 

How will my purchase appear on my credit card statement?

All purchases made through the Liberal Boutique will appear on your credit card statement as payment to: PAYPAL *BRYMARKPROM

 

How do my products ship?

All orders are processed, packaged and forwarded directly to your submitted SHIP TO address via UPS Courier. Each package is forwarded via STANDARD UPS service unless otherwise selected by you at checkout.   Should you have any special or RUSH shipping needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us via the HELP / INFORMATION REQUEST email explained in Point # 2 PRIOR to your order to confirm that your needs can be met. PLEASE NOTE: UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes. The SHIP TO address you provide needs to be a physically accessible address for the courier to be able to deliver to.

 

How quickly can I expect my order to arrive?

Orders are normally fulfilled the NEXT business day from when they are received. However, any orders received (up until 1 PM Eastern Time) requesting NEXT DAY EXPRESS or AIR shipping will be processed and shipped the SAME DAY.

Delivery time lines vary depending on the level of UPS shipping service requested and/or the distance to the SHIP TO address. All orders are shipping from OTTAWA, ONTARIO. NEXT DAY EXPRESS or AIR shipments should deliver the next business day regardless of location across Canada. Not all locations can receive EARLY AM or BEFORE NOON delivery, so if you have a specific delivery timing requirement, please contact us using the HELP/INFORMATION REQUEST email noted in Point #2 above. As for standard Ground UPS shipping services the following time lines are approximately accurate:

  • Southern Ontario and Quebec: Next Business Day
  • Northern Quebec and Ontario: 1 – 2 Business Days
  • Manitoba, NB, NS and PEI: 2 – 3 Business Days
  • Saskatchewan, Alberta and Newfoundland: 3 – 4 Business Days
  • BC: 4 – 5 Business Days
  • Northern Territories: Only deliverable via AIR services using special connection. Time Lengths vary.
  • Rural areas in any location (removed from major urban centers): Can add 1 Business Day to above times

 

What if my item(s) arrive damaged?

All items are checked prior to stocking and prior to packing/shipping. We take the best precautions we can in safely packaging each item for its journey to you. Should your item arrive damaged, contact us using the HELP / INFORMATION REQUEST link mentioned in Point #2 above and we will address the situation immediately.

All returns and/or replacements will be dealt with specifically on an individual case-by-case basis. Please do not ship goods back to us without first discussing your situation as these shipments will be refused on our dock without proper identification. Thank you for your understanding.

A Site Administrator is available from Monday to Friday (excluding Canadian statutory Holidays) from 8:30am-5:00pm (EST). We will strive to respond to you immediately — either with an answer or with a time-line for an accurate response.
